Pedigree Chart for Richard Allen Pearson

I found my Pedigree chart last week. I added my wife Alison Beth Pearson and updated my fathers date of death. Just missing my Graandpa's date of death. Once I get that info I will update the chart again. Some of the older names on my mothers side I have never heard of. A lot of those names haven't been used in generations.  Its very fun and excited to share this information with you.

United States Citizens Defense Corps.

My grandfather was a member of the Jefferson County Auxiliary Police Unit during the 2nd World
War.  As of now this the only document with his signature and hand writing that I have been able
to find.

Jackson Guy Pearson 1941

This picture was taking in 1941.  I"m not sure where it is or who took the picture. I
hate not knowing these little facts about my family photos.  I can say my grandfather
really knew how to dress. Look at those shoes! Guess they didn't have hiking shoes
back then.

Dad and dog 1947

My dad was 4 years old with this photo was taken. I'm not sure what the name of the dog was? He is in a lot of
pictures through-out the album.  I guess thats why my dad was such an animal lover.  I don't think there ever was
a time when my father didn't have animals around.  I do remember when I was little someone gave us a dalmatian.
It was such a fun dog, lots of energy.  If the dog got out, it would run for days. I mean there was no one in the
neighborhood that could catch it. Eventually it would wear it self down and come back looking for water. I wonder
what happen to that dog? I think we ended up giving it to somebody with a larger yard. I hope it was the size of a
football field because we had a pretty big yard when I was growing up.
